Brooklyn Supper: Pioneer Skills

Film by Dave and Jen Cooper

One of the last times I was in New York City, I shared a cab with artist and blogger Elizabeth Stark. She and her husband, writer Brian Campbell, were about to move back to the south after a decade spent in Brooklyn. We talked about the city, raising kids, the world of blogging and what we thought was next. It was like a G rated version of Taxi Cab confessions.

I kept in touch with Elizabeth over the years and when Dave and I came up with the South of Brooklyn project, I knew I wanted her to be a part of it. Not only does she produce a swoon-worthy blog full of delicious seasonal recipes, she’s one of the most honest and thoughtful people I know. Dave and I had the best time hanging out with her and Brian in their Virginia home. They were exceptional hosts and I loved touring all their favorite places in bucolic Charlottesville. In this video, you’ll discover there’s a lot to love.
